Co-founder & Head of Instruction | Akan Language Specialist
Charlotte Tetebea Asiamah is the Co-founder and Head of Instruction at Speak Ghana. She is a trained teacher with a Bachelor of Arts in Akan from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and a Diploma in Education from the University of Education, Winneba. Currently, she serves as a Senior Teacher at KNUST Basic School, where she teaches Akan language, literacy, and cultural studies to primary school pupils.
Charlotte is also an AFRIAK Fellow (African Fellowship for Research into Indigenous and Alternative Knowledge), awarded by CODESRIA and the MasterCard Foundation. Her research focuses on folk media, Akan children's literature, language acquisition, psycholinguistics, and cultural studies.
